Hi Manveer, welcome to RMFAO. (If you haven't noticed by now then I'm the creator of the group.)
I hope you're having a great time interacting with everyone here. And I am also a die-hard FC Barcelona's fan :) Glad to know that you're an engineer. I was one, left in 3rd year of ENTC eng. and changed career paths (I'm a soon-to-be published 24 years old author now. I write psychological-thrillers.)

If you have any queries, feel free to ask.
Also, apart from Genre Challenge, we have quite a lot of other challenges (like NetGalley Challenge, Classics Catch-up, etc.) If you find something that's up your ally, do join in.

Hmm... same here. I'm seriously not enjoying this series as much as I thought I would. It's really disappointing. I guess I'll just finish it by reading the 3rd one and then leave it at that.

Last year only a few people joined in this challenge but to be honest, this challenge was far more inspiring than I initially thought it would be. So here it is again! RMFAO 2016 NetGalley Challenge.

If you want to join in then all you have to do is announce your participation here along with your target. There are no levels in this one as I know how difficult it is to determine all these reads beforehand. So the minimum is 2 books and the maximum is limitless.

Last year I decided to read 25 books and ended up reading 30+, so this year I'll be aiming for at least 50 NG books. I'll be synchronising these reads with RMFAO 2016 Genre Challenge.

I can understand! Even I wanted to do this but I have at least 200 NetGalley books to read and review and as I'm writing my second novel, I think it'll be crazily chaotic when I do JuNo and Camp NaNo in June and July 2016... I haven't even counted the review requests...lol! I'm just glad that I have 3 review contributors who review most of the requested books, otherwise, I would have had to close down the requests again.
Here's hoping that everything will go smoothly in 2016 and we all will be able to read all the books we are planning for :)

PS: I had no idea John Carter movie was an adaptation and also that it's a part of the series. Interesting.

I'll be trying for Level-5 and will try to read at least 1 classic every 1-2 months (the exception being classics month of genre challenge, where I'll be reading 3-4.)

I'll be completing the Richard Hannay series this year.

I was just browsing for some classic reads and I think I'll be doing Little Women and Gulliver Of Mars for Classics challenge as well as this one (for classics month.)

BTW, I've created the new (and a much cooler) logo for this challenge. Please create a fresh thread for this challenge "RMFAO 2016 Classics Challenge" whenever you get some time (as you are the moderator of this challenge so it'll be best that you only write the intro to this challenge.) Then I'll put up the logo pic there so that we can start announcing the new books and use the logo for the blog posts :)

OMG! You guys have done an awesome job reading so many books. I don't even know if I've completed a series or not... I'll check out my list and come back later to update.

We have a lot of reading challenges for 2016. Feel free to participate in whichever you like.
