Finished my first for the month -
Memory Man - 4/5 (more like 4.5/5)
Loved it!! My review:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

One of the books I planned for Mystery/Thriller month has a weapon on it's alternate edition cover. I will be counting it as my copy is anyway an ARC so it doesn't have an edition assigned to it. :D
- there's a gun in the man's hand.

coming up. The woman is holding a gun."I'm starting to really like Mr Baldacci's writing, Dagny. Hope you'll enjoy this one!

You have to loo..."What a coincedence, Cheryl! Hope you enjoy this one :)

I was going through the blurb of The Fix by David Baldacci today and realized that I have the 1st book in that series - The Memory Man, so I'm going to start with The Memory Man and then read The Fix.

I'm done for the month with 5 books that I had planned. I won't be counting the 6th one as I still have 250 pages to go.

2.
Frankenstein by Mary Shelly - 4/5 stars.
A mindblowing read! Thanks a lot Dagny for this recommendation!
Dagny wrote: "Uh, oh. It looks like I won't get Ash and Quill read by the end of the month. Still over 100 pages to go. The worst part is that it will go into Mystery/Thriller month and I'm already wondering how..."This sucks. Even I'm stuck... I'm still reading Swan Song and have another 300 pages left. Feb as it is have only 28 days and now this... It's going to be a difficult month.

Dagny - Wow, you're already done with 7? I'm sure you'll be easily completing the Level you were aiming for way before the year ends.

The first one was good, but the second one was so weird and off track that I stopped after the book ended and not planning on reading the last one at all :/

Looking forward to seeing you around!

4.
For the Glory of the Motherboard: Rise of the Robotariat - 3/5
A unique concept where robot community start a revolution against humans. Very light and quick read. It is based on a game so I'm sure other parts will follow.

I'll be going for Level 5: Bookiopath: 5 books or more (challenging), though it all depends on how fast I can get Swan Song finished as it is around 1000 pages and I'm only done with 350 as of today.
I need time to sort out my tbr, but these are the books I'm planning to read as of now:
1.
Manga Classics: The Stories of Edgar Allan Poe by Stacy King
2.
The Fix by David Baldacci
3.
Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Initiative by Eric Van Lustbader
4.
Girl Last Seen by Nina Laurin
5.
The Ripper's Wife by Brandy Purdy
I have another 6 that I want to read but I'm not sure if I'll be get to them in Feb.
Charvi wrote: "I'll be going for Level 2 since I'll be having my final exams in February. I'll list my tbr soon!"2 books is alot when you have final exams going on, so all the very best, for both - the books as well as your exams!
Dagny wrote: "Yea, mystery/thriller month! Need I say that I'll be shooting for the top level: Level 5: Bookiopath: 5 books or more (challenging). That's easy for most of us mystery lovers here! I hope you do complete 15 books!!
