139735 Ok. I'm done. I just couldn't anymore.

Not sure I'm gonna finish the series. I like Luca and want to make sure he's ok, but I just don't know that I care enough about them together. Ugh.
139735 I just can't anymore. They are trying to make Dom human and its just not working yet.
139735 Yeah, this is just creepy and don't like the power dynamic. I've read others that have a similar dynamic, but this one just feels different.

I might just have a running dialogue here cause I can :)
139735 Even Aiden Snow's narration can't really save this for me.

Me too.
139735 I just started chapter 22 and still don't really see any chemistry between them. How does this go for another book. Maybe the last 40% speeds things along?

I'm determined to finish this tonight.
139735 I'm probably gonna get to that tomorrow and I'll come back.

Note: Spoilers are not hidden on the app, so don't check Buddy Reads from them.

I agree that this is a bit of a departure from what I expect from these two. Still not sure if I like it or not and if its just because its from them that I am having issues.
139735 I'm at chapter 18 and they still hate each other. some secrets are being revealed. I will probably want to read the next one a few days later, if the violence keeps up. I will want to finish, but not sure mafia is for me (but Michelle Dare is starting a mafia series, so I might have to..)

Aiden Snow does the Nothing Special Series by AE Via and honestly he's got that deep voice that I could listen to him read a phone book.

The Isle of Ostin is a vampire series, but I'd start with Three Ties to Bind for her contemporary.

I really like Wreck me Forever and Working Out West. Never a Saint is good, but not my favorite. Not sure I ever re-read that one.

Working Out West has some serious parental abuse on page for being gay and it was hard. I'm a mom and can never imagine doing anything like that to my daughter.
139735 I know I get asked this when I ask it so I'm usually prepared. A favorite author I have now is Michelle Dare. She does primarily MMM or Vampires. I've read all of her MM books in the last year and I stalk her Facebook to get the ARC copies. They are so good.

When I asked I usually list my go-to re-reads, which honestly does change, but these two I've read at least twice each year since i've started tracking

Joey: The Complete Unabridged Story and Wreck Me Forever

Honestly, Anything Narrated by Aiden Snow is awesome, but I do not prefer Joel Leslie.

I rated Boyfriend Material as two stars, but Not 100% sure why. I think one of the characters annoyed me. And House Arrest Without a Home mostly because it was unrealistic and it was set in my hometown and the author did not get things right. distances and things like that were way off.
139735 If you had to pick 5 favorites, what would you pick? Also, 2 least favorites?
139735 I just finished. It was cute, but a bit graphic in the gory details. I hate that it just kinda ends and then we have the birth. Hopefully there are more for the other friends that have the overlap. I see forshadowing for Saxon and Danny a little and I can't wait to see who Baylor ends up with.

I like to say when it comes to reading MM that it just doesn't take a lot of brain power so I can read after a long day at work and just relax.

Bite: Sugar Daddy Vampire

I'm not sure why they are not listed as a series though.
139735 One of the reasons I don't read the traditional MF romance is I hate the "I need to be saved and only a big strong man can save me." They have it in MM Romance too, but it doesn't seem to bother me as much.

I do think they are often a little thin on plot, like they expect the A/O to be enough and don't develop as much. I'd be hard-pressed to find one where they did.

I just got to the place after their first time where Gatlin says he will never have a mate or child. I can't wait to see how that plays out.
139735 I'm just where Haven left him to take the bus back with his friends. My brain is screaming "Fated Mates". There's a reason he smells different than other omegas and why Haven can feel his Alpha power as a human. Ugh! LOL
139735 It's Aiden Snow, so the listening is great. I'm about 10 Chapters in and so far so good.

(view spoiler)
139735 I'm here. I'm gonna start this today, but because I only have the Audio book it will take til Wed or Thurs to finish. I listen for 2 hrs when I go to the gym and this will be 3hrs 50 min at 1.5 speed.

139735 We don't have our thread yet, but I'm gonna start Howl tonight.
