"Everyone has that effect." Perhaps a dull statement in retrospect, but true. Jos was generally unaffected by people and the things they did. It was probably the only ting he could really thank his parents for. Their stubbornness to futilely prove their own innocence had been enough to make him lose some expectations of others. His sisters had been the cherry on top to make everything clear when they left. And as far as he was concerned, or at least pretended, good riddance.

People were lousy. Unreliable, selfish. People were basically no better than animals--probably worse because they could actual reason through their decisions and somehow justify the things they do. Jos sucked in a breath, cold air flooding his lungs. Lord, he needed to sleep. But the next wave of customers would be coming in and he had no time to nap. He gingerly rubbed sleep from his eyes before sniffing and moving to open the door.

"Just gotta push through." His words were almost lost in a yawn, one of many that had plagued him since earlier this morning. His fatigue would catch up to him eventually, he supposed.

Natalie wasn't sure what all was going on in Nina's head, but she was sure it had to be something interesting the way she fell silent so often. She patiently awaited whatever thought the girl was having to pass, perfectly still. No personal email? That was a little unheard of in this day and age, considered how everything was computerized and becoming increasingly automated. Maybe she was just one of those people that weren't as exposed to electronics as a kid.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is." Which meant that she had the tail end of the address, but not the most vital part. They usually threw in random numbers on the end, too, and that would probably have her scrolling through a list of students or just brute forcing it. She'd have to ask one of the communications majors or something; they usually had the lowdown on everyone, anyways.
