Matthew is just too good to be true.

I'm moving along here and ready to go on! Honestly, after all this, Erica and Grady are just now getting their first kiss?

Hi Tina,
I hope you are feeling better. I was kind of disappointed in Closed Casket. A bit better than Monogram, but still quite convoluted. And the whole thing doesn't read like Christie in the least. I'm glad I got it at the library and didn't buy the thing.

Yes, it does appear that Matthew is going to upset the Erica:Grady business. And now the twins (they are kinda spooky, aren't they?) are apparently involved!

I just got into this section. That was certainly an unusual near-tryst between Grady and Erica.

Nicole, I was thinking the same thing with this book.

I wish I had read Skinny Dipping as well; there seems to be a lot to be learned about our characters there.
I did finish Closed Casket last night and started up again with this book, so I will chime back in soon!

I'm trying like the dickens to finish Closed Casket, the new Poirot and get it back to the library, before I move on further on this book. It is always such a rush!

It certainly starts out interesting! I'm just through chapter three and I think something is about to happen. The best friend character is intriguing; gay, asian and rich. We don't see that in our reads very often. I wonder why he is working, though, if he is rich.

I'll try to start this tomorrow!

Nicole: Does that make it #94499495 in the queue?

Are we starting Pumpkin Picking? I have the book and also understand that the author is joining us.

If I can pick this up locally, I will join in. I just got Closed Caskets (the new Hercule Poirot) from the library and am start it as well. I thought being new, Caskets would take a lot of time getting to me, but it didn't. Anyway, I'll look for Pumpkin Picking this weekend.

I know it is hard to please everyone with just one read per month, but two seems to be spreading us thin, as J has noted. Regardless of the book, I will continue to chime in!

I'm in favor of keeping it going. We do seem to manage a decent discussion even if there are only a few of us participating.

I did read Santa Klaus and enjoyed it. Let's see who is on board for another MRR. I'm not looking to rush things, though.

Tina, I didn't feel it, but now that you mention it...
So did this make any of us want to read more MRR? I think I do.

Spoiler:
Well, there were hints all around that Don was not dead after all.

Well, folks, we are in the home stretch. While we can do our spoilers here, please mark them in advance.
Spoiler, perhaps:
I have finished the book and found the ending rather convoluted, though I guess it makes sense when you stop and think. I recommend a careful read of the last two chapters and a refreshment of the characters and plot.

I'm not sure where you all are with this, but I have just a short bit to go before finishing. I will start the final thread tomorrow and hopefully, you can all chime in when you get there!
