Goodness that's an expensive day. It's worse when it's unexpected repairs.

I reread them because I wanted to revisit with all of the characters. Book 4 is set squarely in that world. I didn't have much problem remembering it even though the smaller details escaped me. But book 4 was so highly related to the first 3 that I wanted to reread all of them in order.

The first 3 are free on Audible with membership. The 4th doesn't have audio yet but it's only 99 cents on Amazon.

I only feel bad because I had a handful of other books lined up for May.

I fell down the rabbit hole with the All for the Game series. I read the new, book 4, The Sunshine Court, and had to go back and reread the entire series again because I missed all these characters.

Isn't it wonderfully strange how we can form emotional connections to fictional characters? Author's are magical wizards.

Yay for four day weekends. Mine is really only 3, but since I work from home tomorrow, it'll feel like 4. :-)

I'm spending Memorial Day Weekend with my grandson. It's my daughter's 5th year wedding anniversary (where did the time go?!) and they're taking a weekend trip, just the 2 of them, to celebrate. So I've go the toddler, the dogs, and of course my cats to take care of. Being a grandma is a lot of work. hahaha

You're 8 hours later than me. I didn't do much of anything yesterday. I was proud of myself for getting the dishes washed. 😏

But I like doing nothing on the weekends. I work weekdays and enjoy my alone time when I can get it. So your weekend sounds like my perfect one.

Unfortunately, I have to get out of the house today to run a few errands and I'll probably end up at my daughter's house for dinner. My son in law loves to feed me since neither my daughter nor I are good cooks. 🤷‍♀️
