Some of the books I marked as read didn't show up on my bookshelf this week. I'm just shrugging it off though. I remember some of ya'll mentioning probs with the bookshelves.
Those review numbers are strange Stacie. Did you check to see if they were registered GR members with history?

Stacie, so sorry you're dealing with AC issues at work. Did you get electric back at your house? It's 10 degrees lower than normal this week but I know that doesn't mean much when it's in the 90's with no AC.

The actual tropical storm hasn't reached us yet. But we are directly in the path. It's around 75 miles from us. The crazy thing is Galveston is over 250 miles from us and we are ..."oh no! Stay safe indoors.

That was Cass. :-)"
Oops 🙈 you're right sooorrrry"Lol, no problem. Any promotion I get from here will be into retirement.

Laura Elizabeth wrote: "We are going to Myrtle beach and Charleston on the 20th and I hope we don’t have hurricane that week 🙏"Sounds like a nice summer trip. Fingers crossed for great weather.

Now Boston cream pie - even in a doughnut - yum!

I've never been a fan of custard. My mom loved it.

I'm planning on roasting a bag of potatoes in case they don't like anything else. Oh, and French bread. I know they eat that. Lol

I've had a peaceful, restful 4.5 days off. Needed it! I was so tired. Now I've gotten lots of sleep. My apt is clean. I hemmed a couple pairs of pants and did hours of crocheting while listening to audiobooks. I'm a happy girl. I even invited my daughter and her family over for dinner. Something I hardly ever do because of my poor cooking skills. But I'm feeling good so it's going to be great. 😊

Yay Marion! Jump right in, we already have a discussion going for it.
