125752 I'm always at such loose ends the first Sunday after football season. 😔

I do love soccer but as far as watching I'm only consistent with the World Cup games. Not like NFL when the TV comes on at noon and stays on till bed time. 😆

125752 Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Di, chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite. I think I'm going to ask for some for my birthday this year.

I've been eyeing a tour of Sicily for next year. But the World Cup is going to be here so I may spend all my money on that instead.

You can search for a title using the normal search box. For example, I went to the Kindle store and searched for "Kiss and Don't Tell". The book showed up with the prime symbol, an orange checkbox with thr blue lettered Prime. Underneath it is another book which is on Kindle Unlimited, with it's symbolized lettering, but no Prime symbol, so that one is not available through Prime. Oh, and I was using list view instead of tile view. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

125752 Flu type A is what my grandson had. Boy that stuff is bad. Wishing all you ladies feeling sick a quick recovery.

Weatherman says we might get snow again end of next week. Right when I have to drive to Houston for a funeral. Unlike Judy, I am terrified to drive on ice. I've had a couple of bad experiences and as much as I love to drive, snow, ice or heavy rain makes me so nervous.

125752 One way to get to it is
On the Amazon home page, there is a drop-down menu labeled ALL. If you click the bars it opens to a long list. Scroll down to Shop-by-Department and click BOOKS using the arow to open that menu. Scroll down to Kindle Books and click on Prime Reading.
I don't know if this link will work for you:

I also canceled my Prime a few years ago. I did fine without it, as I got free shipping as long as I waited to have $35 of items to purchase. Then last year, my daughter added me to her Prime account as a family member. She gets half off the membership as an educator. It is convenient. But honestly, I usually buy the same item, often from the same seller, from Walmart who's shipping is very reliable and provides easy returns.

125752 Oh Jill, that is really terrible that your Mom went through that. I'm surprised she didn't just walk out.

I hope it's not a sign of medical care moving forward. My primary PA retired last year and I STILL haven't found a replacement for primary care.

I thought of something a few days ago. If I remember right, you have a Prime membership. If so, there's a pretty good selection of free Kindle books through Prime without the Kindle subscription.

graceful stumble huh? gotta try one of those myself lol

It's getting cold again next week so winter isn't over for us, just gave us a little reprieve.

Glad everyone is home and the SB party is out.
