I forgot to come back. I finished it and I liked it. It was slow, but so intriguing. I'd say heed the TW if you are interested. Very creepy. It would be a great October read.

Y'all my little nephew is over today. And this boy never stops talking! 😂😂😂 He started talking lare, but now, he is making up for lost time. Gee wiz! Jerrick and I are so out of practice with this age. He's 4.

I don't really know if character driven was the right sentiment. It's just a lot less world building than a lot of fantasy.

I think it's the characters that make it so much better to me. Plus the story is actually compelling.
