Okay, so y'all know I very rarely read the blurb before I start a book. I didn't know Hendrix was going to be a caretaker for her mom. This is going to be emotional.

I started yesterday. It is very interesting, but! was released today, so I started that this morning. I'm excited about it!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas in yhe group. Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. We had a great weekend and J really did do good. We had such a good time together. Today has been a busy day. But again, good! Got home and visited with both sets of moms and grandmas. And my sisters too. I got to hold my great niece Kolby for the first time today. She is precious. It was a great weekend.

Jiill! I absolutely love hearing all yiur thoughts allways! I think I miss stuff when I'm audio listening. I probably zone out or get distracted by people sometimes.

Making a meal plan and doing the grocery shopping for the week is one of the best gifts ever. When I went to Utah last year and didn't have to decide on any meals or cook for 3 days, it was one of the best parts of the trip!

Thank you, guys!!! We have been having a good time. Thr play was actually good. Eve Marcille and Allen Payne were the leads. She is just as gorgeous in person as she is on tv. And tiny. Today we have been relaxing. We had a really good breakfast and walked along the canal the hotel sits on. I read by the pool and came back and took a nap. Now we're trying to decide what to do until dinner at one of my favoriteplaces up here.

The surprise was going to be the Ft Worth Zoo. I love the zoo. But we changed our minds. Were going to go to the zoo at home soon. I was tired from yesterday. I didn’t want to get up and go, go, go.

It's been fun!

I also finished. First if all, I didn't like this narrator. She sounded way too chipper. But it didn't ruin the book.

(view spoiler)[I feel a lot like Fiona. The pacing of this book was way too slow. And nit much happened until... I'll say 70% rather than 80 like Fiona said, but still WAY TOO FAR INTO THE STORY! I think I waould have just kept putting this down if I was only reading it. However! I did stay interested enough to keep going and I do want to read/listen to the next book. I remember feeling like this while I was reading the Blood and Ash series by JLA. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 41- (view spoiler)[ I think Odessa and Ransom are actually married because the only signed the contract in blood, and didn't exchange vows. I think it was his blood Xavier signed with, and not his own. Plus, he keeps calling her "My Queen." I also think he is the prince, not Xavier. (hide spoiler)]
