Yeah, I agree with what you said. Still a five star for me but I definitely get what you're saying. The Zere parts did just kind of fade out, but I was glad. i really wish it had been even less of the plot but I got that too. I guess. I do understand why Zere didn't want to be Hendrix's friend but I though business partners was not out of the question. Again, though, I wish there was even less of that. Some parts with her mother made me bawl!!! (view spoiler)[When she had to relive her husband's death, I didn't think I was going to make it through that! I'm happy with where that part was left. With her mom and aunt both moved in with her. Hendrix's traveling home one or twice a month was not sustainable at all. And the proposal was golden to me! (hide spoiler)]

Did anyone watch American Idol this season. They had a lot of talented singers for sure. I'm so happy Jamal won!! It really could have been either of the top 5. I was sad when Gabby didn't make it, but again, I'm super happy Jamal won.

Wow! Times flies so fast. That is the age gap between my boys too. It was so interesting having a senior and freshman at the same time. It will be a fun school year for sure.

Happy friday y'all! I'm so late... I've actually had a really chill day. Chris went to the Rangers game. Tomorrow I'm going with my mama to one of her friend's 90th birthday. Then, Sunday I have to wash my hair! I might put some twist in. Maybe. The weather is going to be rainy all weekend here too. Actually through Tuesday or Wednesday.

Judy, sounds like the new job is going okay. I bet you will have it down in no time.

Land of the Beautiful Dead is captivating. I'm kind of enthralled with this story.
