Sounds good Carolyn! I finished a few of my current reads. I am okay whenever we want to start the books.

We have two folders for Reading Proposals, right? I think I checked both. Carolyn, I really think we should start to see William's series. :)
Carolyn, I'm happy to see your update on massage 2. I'm so excited to read "The Raven Boys" too! I read "Eragon" and definitely want to read the next! Hooray, you are in the fantasy world, right?. :)
I also have “Poor Tom Is Cold”, "The Big Four" and “Tooth And Nail”, glad to continue these.
Also, Master and Commander and The Wolves of Willoughby Chase from Sarah's list sound interesting, and I never say NO to William Faulkner. :)

Kerri my biggest problem was the characters, there were mostly unkind and angry although I'm so glad that it changed in the end. The third-year was much better!
Carolyn, I'm so glad that as you mentioned everything unpleasant works out quite early for everyone.
I think we are happy to see Dusty Miller is safe as a member of the family and Elizabeth grow happy when finds her father the best she hoped.
I liked Dovi's father's trick (if I wrote correctly) to make Jarvis care about her, it was funny he was relieved that her daughter stand for herself. :)
I found Minerva's ( I can't possibly write her last name :) ) chapters entertaining. Anne couldn't imagine that her husband beat her and also when she was scared to sleep in her house, full of ghosts. :)
And my biggest surprise was that I began to like Rebecca. :) The changes in Katherine and Rebecca were so good.

I start to read this book again last night and finished chapter 15!
I'm so sorry that I should confess, this is a very hard book to read, I'm really struggling! I probably would drop it if this wasn't in a friendly group reading. Happily, this is audio and I only listen to it before sleeping, and it's not a very detailed read.
I am happy to read your comment and find a good side of Anne and the part that Kerri and Leeanne find it amusing, but I'm afraid my mind resists enjoying unlikable characters. :)
When I was reading the third book and this, something funny kept passing to my mind. I think this is coming to my mind because of the collateral damage of reading mysteries stories! What if Montgomery has found or stolen the Anne Shirley green gable, or in the next dark suspicious, even murdered who was wrote it and herself write the other books. :)
I know many love her so much but I give up understanding or enjoying her unusual fictional characters.
The old, sad, and lonely ladies who have no manners and children with no feelings for their grown-up!
Well, I try to do my best to be kinder while listening to the rest!

I listen to the English version of it Windy Poplars, wish that was the complete version!

I don't think the different versions of "Windy Poplars" and "Windy Willows" in Persian translated have any differences. But I think this time I'll give a chance at the original book, I find Anne of Windy Poplar's audio, so maybe an unlikable feeling for the last two books get better with the original.
I'll be so glad to know abuse of people or animals to skip that chapters, Carolyn. :)

You have great books on your list Carolyn, I have read a few of "Various", I hope you enjoy them too.
These books are on my list, and whenever you start I'll be happy reading with you. There is no problem reading a few books at the same time. :)
“Poor Tom Is Cold”
Agatha Christie "The Big Four"
“Anne Of Windy Poplars”
"The Mysterious Benedict Society"
“The Time Machine” and "The Invisible Man" Maybe!
Carolyn, both Ian Ranking and Agatha Christie are great, but what do you think about next Tommy and Tuppence "Partners in Crime", I love them. :)
Although I really like to read “The Angel’s Game”, yet couldn't find a copy, I'll let you know when finding it, maybe start to look for the electronic version.
I think these books sound good, I look for the PDF or audio versions, please let me know whenever you want to read them.
"The Starless Sea"
"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is written by Washington Irving?
I want to start Rick Riordan's books this year with "The Lightning Thief", I see you have another series on your list, "The Maze Of Bones" sounds good.
"Prelude To Foundation" by Isaac Asimov, did you read other books in Foundation Universe Series or this is a start? I never read Isaac Asimov, not sure the order! there are differences in publication order, suggested reading order, chronological, and stories.

I've almost thought of a 3-star because of terrible people and a sad story, but this was a great read with Carolyn and Kerri as we continue knowing our favorite character, William.
I have the same idea as you two, more time with William and dislikable characters. The good thing was about Anne who finds her son, the poor boy had a very hard time, I wish miracles like this wouldn't only happen in the fictional worlds.

"Did she pretend her own child was a niece?" "This interested me as well, because did that mean Dolly was in England too?"
I think they were on a farm not in England, it was a cover I imagine. But I didn't understand why Mrs. Padlow lied about her own child? She was married and pregnant, can't she just say that the child belongs to her husband?

This was very confusing and had lots of narrators. I start to know what is going on after chapter 9! I think this is a better story and more suspenseful than the last one. But it petty shame that the characters are unlikable. Except for William. Arthur and his wife!
My first question is, Is Lily dead? When, how?
George and Freddie, the poor young boys, had to tell William the truth. Although the neighbor saw two people that night, right? Probably Annie Brogan who wants the medicine for her sister, and the killer.
"I hope the "niece" is her Daughter;" It seems so. Mrs. Padlow knew Dolly and was very uncomfortable when meeting Annie. If she knew Dolly from when she had given birth, so what is her story with Annie? Is Annie accidentally seeing Mrs. Padlow when they were supposed to meet Meredith, or after meeting Dolly, she had a plan to see Mrs. Padlow?
We are all excited to see Julia and how William first meet her.:) Julia seems to cheer up even when everyone doesn't expect her as a doctor!

Carolyn, you asked about my book, it's a translation and I bought it a few days ago, curious to know what will we think about it.
I hope you have a great weekend and a happy birthday.

Warm in -1C! Well, I wanted to say that it's getting cold at 7C with no rain.:)

As I said before, there are many better mysterious books and Agatha Christie that I've read! This isn't my favorite, but I will remember this. First, because I read it with you. Second, we have been tricked! :)
Good Idea, I will add my review link too.

I can find "The Big Four" in the public library, no problem. Whenever you are ready, I will borrow it or I can download an e-book version in English.
I'm happy you didn't disappoint with Hercule Poirot and we can continue reading these books together.
"I give love to characters that do not receive enough of it from other people." How beautifully you said. This is in my mind for so many books, even unplanned, I love the less popular characters.
P.S. It's like a nightmare typing and commenting on Goodreads! The site is filtered now. I can saw or like posts with my phone but hardly comment with the laptop.

I understood what you mean, your right. It is very unusual to call "Gates", it is Mr. Gates or Bill. :)
I plan to finish my Ph.D. this year, eventually in March. I let you know when I receive your mail, thank you. <3 I plan to mail something soon!
This wasn't a perfect read, but I liked that the twist in the story and I think a liar narrator was something new, surprising!
