"On page 305, Tbh, this far through, the book has been disappointing. The concept is excellent and the world is interesting, but it’s felt like almost nothing has happened for a few hundred pages (to say nothing of how underutilized the premise is and how obvious the twists have been so far). this slump is hitting me so bad. actually it's not even that but i'm training for my first half marathon and around training and work and school there's such little time to read and what time I do have, I spend reading articles on substack — 9 hours, 45 min ago
