"I was left a note saying to speak to you about the changes to the puzzles you write for the paper." Batman handed the woman the Post-It. ((I'm assuming it's a green Post-It.)) immediately began to scan for weapons or potential threats, though She didnt seem the type to even know how to hande a firearm. That could actually make her more dangerous. He carefully stepped over a stack of Chinese takeout boxes that had been set next to an overflowing trash can. He tried to see if he could understand the puzzle.

"I said things I'm not proud of either." Robin shrugged. "I don't hold it against you." Then he leaned in just a bit closer and in a whisper he added, "If you think you could use it after this, I know a good therapist." He slipped a card for Dr. Leslie Thompkins in his shirt pocketand patted his shoulder. Then he turned to mount his motorbike. Worth a final wave to the judge, he zipped off. "Headed to the Batcave." He announced over his comm.

[E, N, C] I have theories as to what the anagram might be!
Also, I realized there's at least one thread that we dropped.))
Ethan Bennett and the other guards ushered everyone from the Wayne Enterprises building. Someone had been assigned to track down Leonard Fiasco, but after an hour and a half, he sis mot appear to be anywhere on the premises. All the cameras were somehow running footage loops. Lucius knelt on the ground above one of the disabled drone. He'd already pulled the hard drive from the first.

Batman and Robin mentioned to Batgirl that they had also received letters. "I swear," Nightwing groaned, "If I find an 'A' on a copy of a certain Nathaniel Hawthorne novel..." He cut off. "Is there anything of note in the photo besides you? Is it UV reactive?"
"Mine's a polaroid." Batman supplied. "I intend to do a chemical analysis at the Batcave. But first I have an appointment with the crossword creator." He made his way to Gloria's door and knocked.

As Robin disassembled and reassembled the phone to harvest rhe Sim card, he listened to the children. He'd forgotten they had children. They seemed, circumstances aside, like a functioning family. His perception of the judge's relationship status shifted. He set the SIM in a protective hardcase and into his belt. He headed outside and tapped the juddge's husband's shoulder. From one of his pouches, he pulled a handful of Dum Dums lolipops he kept for when he had to rescue scared children. "These are for the kids. Take care, Sir. I took the liberty of informing someone at the ER that you were coming." ((Maybe Eve and the Judge could meet? I swear I still start typing Mayor every time!))

A balanced Circadian Rhythm actually does wonders, for sure.))

I'm glad you're taking the diagnosis in stride. In honesty, I'd probably start playing it off too, eventually. "Hey, might actually get some good sleep...", etc. etc. So long as you don't forget to take of yourself.))

And XD would not likely be my reaction to narcolepsy. I'm sorry to hear that. Praying for you. Please, take your time. I'm not trying to rush you, I promise.))

((Rough as in busy? Everything alright? You don't have to say anything if you don't want. Just checking in on you.))

"Nightwing, keep the lines clear. Cut the chatter." Batman warned him. He pulled up to Gloria's home.
"Aww... You're no fun!" Dick protested. "Donuts!" He whispered as if Jason were the only one who could hear him.

Tim sighed. "With all due respect, Sir... Mm, no. That actually implies I don't respect you." He shook his head. "Anyway, I was going to say that she can probably speak for herself. But yes, a hospital would probably be a good idea. "I'm going to borrow your phone's SIM card, before you go, though. Don't worry. It'll get returned to you." He didn't say how. Then he headed toward the bedroom. 'My room...' Probably unconscious on her part, but it does make me wonder if they still sleep together.

I interpreted this as saying he was puffing it up to seem bigger than it was. I'll reply in earnest in a bit.))

Robin cursed himself as he realized he'd neglected to attend to the Judge's wounds. He pulled a pair of splints and a roll of gauze from his belt and began to dress the broken bone. He excused himself to answer Batman's call and came back with two glasses of water for the Judge and her husband. "You just implied you knew it was a run of the mill operation. You have the invoice in evidence then?"

Robin thought this over. It wasn't exactly what he wanted her to admit, but this seemed like something. Edward Elliott, Eddie Hills... He knew two didn't make a pattern, but he also didn't put much stock in coincidences. "Falcone. Weapons. Hmmm. Good to know. What exactly did they want him to say? Or not say?"

~~~
Robin nodded. That was closer to what he needed to know. "Who is being paid off and by who specifically?" He looked the judge in her eyes.
~~~
Robin took a slightly firmer tone. "I need you to be honest with me. Did you make a verdict you think could have upset someone? Did any of the witnesses or jurors seem questionable?"
