The son of two migrants, Sasha quickly became fascinated with the history of the world when he was enrolled at public school. He realized that it was very different than what he had been taught in his home land, and he decided to study it enough to teach it to his students, comparing and contrasting what he'd learned. He truly cares about his students, because he feels lucky to have been given a life in America.

Jack closes his eyes and continues the song.

Believing himself to be alone, Jack slinks in with his guitar. After plugging it in, he starts to launch into a slower song than he's known for listening to--Green Day's "X-Kid."
