"All right! Meet at the pool in fifteen minutes?"
He blushes, excited that she said yes.

"Do not worry, I am not insulted. You may make a note if you like."

"Hm? Oh, erm, thank you. I am not so serious as people think, you know."

"Well... I've got some time now, if you'd want to go..."

"Hm, you are math teacher, yes? I am not so good with numbers, unless they are dates... in history, or numbers in my phone from women."
He chuckles, his laugh rumbling through the room.

"Well, thank God you have water! Yakutsk water is... fine, at best."

"This is true. Seven dollars for cup of coffee? I must make my own now!"
He shakes his head.

"Well, America is much nicer. Not so cold, yes?"

"
Da. Yes. My family is from Yakutsk."

"Well... would you like to go to the pool or beach together?"

Sasha smiles, which makes his angular, bearded face considerably rounder and more welcoming.
"Do you come from Germany?"

"Well, I like swimming, and building things..."

"Dobryy den'." Sasha rumbles, his deep voice easily carrying across the room. "Apologies, friend. I meant, 'good day'."

A rush of excitement fills him when she doesn't pull away. He starts to actually hold her hand now.

He scoots a little bit closer to her, taking a chance and gently putting his hand over hers.

He looks over at the pretty girl, starting to gain more confidence around her.

"Yeah, I agree. It did just open though..."

"That's true."
He sits there next to her for a bit, enjoying her company.
