Enjoy a royal read for this prompt. Don't feel like you have to limit yourself to the British Royal Family (or any real royal family). Feel free to branch out to the Kingdom of Genovia or even Gondor.

Let's go back a bit and read a classic book written before 1850.

One of the more popular novel structures is to write a story with two different timelines that converge together.

Time to browse the library stacks. Pick up a book that's in the 300s of the Dewey Decimal system. That's the Social Sciences section - Economics, Political Science, Education, Social Welfare, Customs and Folklore.

The Mother-Daughter relationship can shape women in myriad ways, making it a perfect topic for novels and memoirs.

Find a book that will empower you to make a change or reach a goal.

Pick out a book that is set during the First World War. It's so much messier than WWII, but it's still such an important historical event.

Thrillers are always fun to read, but there's something special about domestic thrillers. Suspecting the closest members of your household of a heinous crime definitely messes with your family dynamics.

I know for most of the prompts I tell you to go through your to-read list and pick up those backlist books. Not today. Now's the time to read a 2023 new release.

You've heard the buzz. You have to read this! This is a must-read. Have you read this book. Well, it's time to read that book.

I am not of the opinion that the book is always better (cough cough The Prestige or Runaway Jury) but it's definitely always way more fun to read the book first before watching the movie or tv adaptation.

Life is full of challenges ... and complicated relationships. Consider tangled romantic relationships, tricky family dynamics, unbalanced work relationships, and complex friendships as the perfect fodder for a great novel.

Did you know the bookish corner of TikTok is called BookTok? It's where all the book bloggers and excited bookworms congregate to discuss books, books, and more books.
I don't actually have a TikTok, but the short-form videos have become so popular that they are everywhere nowadays.

Do audiobooks count as reading?
That's an empathetic yes. And anyone who says differently is WRONG!

Let's go back a few decades and read a book set in the 1930s, the era between the World Wars where the economy was gripped by depression.

Read a bestselling novel set tackling today's issues.

Families come in all shapes and sizes. For this prompt, read a book that involves adoption or foster care.

Break out from your reading rut and try something new. Instead of reading the same genre over and over again, pick up something you don't usually read instead.

Alphabet time. Select a book that starts with the letter A.
