One more thing, regarding Sara -
(view spoiler)[I’m so glad that she went to Mitchell’s apartment, he is a total coward! And when he came back to her house and told Sara that he lost his moms house! I wanted to smack him!!!! And now there is no where for his mom to go, Sara won’t put her out, she knows how that feels with not being wanted, but I know they will become best friends! (hide spoiler)]

I agree - chapter 12 -
(view spoiler)[Poor Judith!!!! I just can’t imagine! B I knew it wasn’t going to end well for him, he told her that he wasn’t feeling well and that he thought he was coming down with something, but I think Judith was just so focused on her agenda, she didn’t hear him. (hide spoiler)]And you are so right, this book is really good!

Regarding your spoiler, yes! I was shocked too. I like how this author is taking what we expect to happen with these..."Right, we are expecting all the things to happen, up but the way it’s all happening!!! 😬

Good question!!

Lea, I’ve made it to Chapter 12, I’m going to stop for the day.

Do you have a favorite point of view? I like all of the l..."So far I like all of the ladies. Right now Jasmine seems a bit out of place just because
(view spoiler)[She doesn’t really have a husband, of course she is a single mom and had a partner who was taken away from her. I guess if I say that about Jazmine, I guess I should say the same about Erin, since she is in the process of getting married. Sort of.😬 (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7 - this comment is about Sara, OMG 😳
(view spoiler)[ okay, I didn’t expect that, I was thinking maybe an affair but another family??!!?!? Nope! Didn’t see that coming. (hide spoiler)]

I’ve started but only 11% in, I’ve been introduced to all of the ladies and I have thoughts. I plan to get more read today.

I’m not sure that I knew William Shatner was an author. But, I’ve never been a Star Wars nerd, I did watch it a little bit.

Hello ladies, this book sounds fun and who doesn’t like a book about books and book clubs! I’m going to join you all if you don’t mind. I just need to start and finish
before my Libby takes my audio back!

I haven’t hear about a sequel for
The Plot, I haven’t read the book yet soooo, I’m probably not going to join that buddy read.
I’m also interested in reading all 3 of those Bundy books, I’m good with later in the year and I’m thinking we should have a separate thread for each of the books, I’m sure there will be a lot to discuss.

Ugh! I still need to read the Mercedes trilogy along with The Outsiders and don’t forget about the short story in If It Bleeds. I won’t be able to join you ladies but I hope you have a great time talking about Holly.

Spoiler regarding Pamela.
(view spoiler)[Pam wasn’t annoying to me. When she called the families and told them that the girls would be okay, I was like this is not going to end well. I think some of her being annoying was due to the way the women were being treated. Which was absolutely horrible. Personally I don’t think women are still being treated fairly, I don’t think it’s as bad as the 70’s but it’s still bad.
I also think that Pamela felt like she need to take care of everyone since she had that position at the house. I think that could have been taken as her being annoying but she just wanted the rest of the girls to be okay, in addition to getting answers. (hide spoiler)]

Lea wrote: "Linda wrote: "I finished this book today and just wow, I gave this book 5 stars, it was so heartbreaking. I just want to read all of the stuff now. I was a teen when this was going on, I remember h..."I think I was drawn more to Pamela since she was a bit more focused on seeing that the right guy got caught and paid for his crimes. She was really invested and I think that was due to her being right there with her sisters when Bundy broke into their house.
I also enjoyed reading from Ruth’s point of view, she was so tortured with everything that she was going through in her life, her parents well I guess really her mom was a piece of work!
