I wanted to read The Exorcist last year and Rosemary’s Baby, but i didn’t read either of them, I’m going to try to do it this year.

So far I like all of the ladies. Right now Jasmine seems a bit out of place just because (view spoiler)[She doesn’t really have a husband, of course she is a single mom and had a partner who was taken away from her. I guess if I say that about Jazmine, I guess I should say the same about Erin, since she is in the process of getting married. Sort of.😬 (hide spoiler)]

I’m not sure that I knew William Shatner was an author. But, I’ve never been a Star Wars nerd, I did watch it a little bit.

I haven’t hear about a sequel for The Plot, I haven’t read the book yet soooo, I’m probably not going to join that buddy read.

I’m also interested in reading all 3 of those Bundy books, I’m good with later in the year and I’m thinking we should have a separate thread for each of the books, I’m sure there will be a lot to discuss.

Ugh! I still need to read the Mercedes trilogy along with The Outsiders and don’t forget about the short story in If It Bleeds. I won’t be able to join you ladies but I hope you have a great time talking about Holly.

Spoiler regarding Pamela. (view spoiler)[Pam wasn’t annoying to me. When she called the families and told them that the girls would be okay, I was like this is not going to end well. I think some of her being annoying was due to the way the women were being treated. Which was absolutely horrible. Personally I don’t think women are still being treated fairly, I don’t think it’s as bad as the 70’s but it’s still bad.

I also think that Pamela felt like she need to take care of everyone since she had that position at the house. I think that could have been taken as her being annoying but she just wanted the rest of the girls to be okay, in addition to getting answers. (hide spoiler)]

Lea, (view spoiler)[ I totally agree, with you regarding Ruth with being an lesbian, how horrible that her parents sent her to a mental hospital just because she was a lesbian. So, I was surprised that her dad was homosexual as well, at least I’m pretty sure that is what was mentioned and her friend who ended up marrying her brother was a lesbian as well, they just kept it quiet and lived life as heterosexual. Although, I feel like the same thing would not have happened to,her dad, but I think it would have happened to her sister-in-law, what was her name again - Rochelle?!!?!? 🤔🤔 I think that is why she didn’t like Tina, she was jealous of,her that the two of,them had a relationship and she wasn’t able to have that same relationship with Ruth. I felt so bad for Ruth, her life was just miserable for her. (hide spoiler)]

I’m right there with you Lindsey, the young ladies were treated horribly!

I think I was drawn more to Pamela since she was a bit more focused on seeing that the right guy got caught and paid for his crimes. She was really invested and I think that was due to her being right there with her sisters when Bundy broke into their house.

I also enjoyed reading from Ruth’s point of view, she was so tortured with everything that she was going through in her life, her parents well I guess really her mom was a piece of work!
