No worries, I thought we were reading first, in January. But I’m flexible.

I’m somewhat interested in Dorothy, because of Wicked, maybe it’s her story I’m interested in, but nothing wrong with looking into Dorothy as well. I found the book with an3 week hold.

I started his book today, very early I. Though. Reading chapter 2 now and oh how I wish the chapters were shorter. I think long chapters make me go slower for some reason. 😬

But yes, interesting take on clansman especially since they are/were so full of hate. Boggles my mind how one race of people can hate another race of people just because of the color of their skin. Yes!!! That part!!!

I never know what book I’m going to choose for the new year. I know some people like to start the new year off with a 5 star book so they will choose something they rated 5 stars before but I don’t think that’s me. Hmmmm, 🤔🤔

Man, it has taken me forever to finish this book! 🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m definitely interested in reading more books on this topic. But this was a hard book to read. These poor people who are being manipulated each and every day and they just stay and do whatever the prophet tells them, handing over their daughter’s over to these old men, sending their sons out into the world alone, it’s just so heartbreaking.

Yes! I definitely want to read Lost Boy, I had already added it to my TBR and searched my libraries for it.

Exactly Lea, I don’t have any children but I do have nieces and nephews and it makes me nervous on a daily basis.
