I’ve wanted to read more on this topic and have several of theses on my list. There is just never enough time!

I started this one today, just a little. I’m at Chapter 4, and was so shocked at chapter 3, how they just took over Ross Chatwind’s house, split it, added another structure and deemed it a duplex! Who does that!!!

(view spoiler)[Wow!!!! Well I surely did not expect that! This plot was Evan’s sister all along! And she was the blackmailer! I was not surprised by Jake being so close and he figured out that whoever was behind this blackmail was close to Evan but how crazy that the person was actually Anna, his wife!

So I’m curious about the picture that Jake showed to the cleaner at the apartment and Roy the coroner they both said that lady was not Rose, so I wonder who was in the pic that Jacob had??!!??!!

Now after reading The Plor, I love the title for book 2 being The Sequel, it’s so perfect. - (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 24 - (view spoiler)[I am 100% on Anna’s side with her anger at Jake regarding the posts of plagiarism. I just don’t understand why he didn’t tell her. Of course no time would have been a good time but when that letter arrived at their house, he should have told her then.

While telling Anna the dirty details, I feel like I’ve gotten a better understanding of how this book came to be. I do remember Jacob only getting to read a few pages. But I guess that’s all he needed to put this book together. (hide spoiler)]

I’m 50% into this book and (view spoiler)[ I agree with you Lea. We have read this book before and even saw the movie. But Evan was convinced that his book was going to be a big hit and based on the book that Jacob wrote, it is. But how do we really know Jacob’s book is indeed Evan’s book??? Evan was concerned that Jacob wanted to know more about his book because he was worried that he would try to steal his plot. And if I remember correctly it was some years that Evan passed away, why didn’t he write his book??? Am I wrong??? (hide spoiler)]

So regarding the narrator. I’m now at the 1st Excerpt from Jacob’s book, Crib. I no longer feel the narrator is giving me eerie vibes, and for the longest time, I didn’t like his narration. M still not sold on it but he is okay, I feel like there are better guy narrators out there. My thoughts would be that he will also be the narrator for book 2, which won’t make me happy.

Good morning ladies, just wanted pop in here to say, I have started this book today. I’m getting the feeling that the narrator of this book is wanting the book to sound eerie if that makes sense. I’m surprised by that and wasn’t expecting it.

My first John Marrs book was The One. Sorry my tablet is giving me trouble, I wanted to post the cover. And yes, I would 100 % recommend reading it.

Finished and this was so good!! My second John Marrs book. So many twists and turns!

Chapter 65 -(view spoiler)[OMG!!! I definitely didn’t see that coming!!! 😱 So now Jude/Noah wants to tell Libby this whole story and how it came to be. I think that he wants her forgiveness and maybe they can move in together if she knows the truth. But I’m not sure, I think Libby’s moral compass won’t allow her to forgive him for what he and his brother has done. And side note, I think they are each others perfect match and if they are will knowing that help Libby to forgive him??!!??!!? I don’t know. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 47 - (view spoiler)[Im glad we are getting each of the passengers back story so to say. Claire’s story was so sad but at least we find out why her hubby was in the trunk of their car.

Sophia’s story, I think I’m not happy with her. I understand why she got the hysterectomy but I feel like she should have exposed him and showed the world he is a pedophile. To me her decision not to share it was a selfish decision on her part since it would have exposed her and since she didn’t, he just continued to use her.

Sam’s story, I think Sam was trying to have his cake and eat it to. 😂 he got the DNA perfect match after he had already married Heidi, only to find out that Josie was his perfect match. But he didn’t have to marry her! He will never be able to continue with this charade! Side note, I love that the author put in an aspect of The One in this book. I loved The One!! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 35 - (view spoiler)[As previously mentioned, I thought all of this was because of Jack, some of this may still be about Jack, but I’m also thinking that choosing these passengers may not have been random. Jack has finished interviewing Claire to be saved from this ordeal and then we find out that Claire has her husband in the trunk of her car and he is dead! 😳 what other secrets are we going to learn about these passengers?.!?!!??
