I read Spare when it came out last year. I had always liked Harry, but I don't agree with a lot that has gone on recently. I think a lot of the family issues should have been dealt with privately. They go on a lot about privacy, but then do these documentaries, interviews etc... Harry has obviously struggled with his mental health, particularly with losing his mum so tragically. Do I believe everything in his book... no. There have been wrongs on both his part, and on the part of the other Royals. It's a shame he & Meghan quit as working royals because I think they could have had a positive impact.
4th book finished - The Shadow Man5 stars
Loved this book, kept me hooked right from the start. I found the killer an intriguing character and was curious to find out more.
5th book finished - The Atlas ParadoxI ended up giving it 4 stars but I couldn't quite decide what I thought of it. For 400 pages, there didn't seem to be a lot happening. Some characters were more interesting than others.
I preferred the 1st book in the trilogy. I already have the 3rd book so I will read it, but I'm hoping for something a bit more with it.

3rd book finished last month - Fair RosalineI enjoyed this retelling of Romeo & Juliet from Rosaline's perspective - we hear her mentioned in the play but she doesn't really feature. I do think it's beneficial for someone to have read and be reasonably familiar with the play and Shakespeare's language to get the most from the book.
4th book finished - The Soul Killer4 stars for this one. It's been a while since I read the 1st book in series. I soon remembered the characters and references to what happened in the 1st book.
My first thoughts on the killer were wrong but I think we were being obviously directed to the wrong person. Once I eliminated that person I guessed correctly.
3rd book finishedA Court Of Thorns & Roses - this series has been on my to-read list for a while. This book was on my 2023 challenge but was 1 of the books I didn't tick off for my 12.
I don't know what took me so long to dip into this book. Within a few chapters I was hooked and have enjoyed it. I found the world interesting, and the characters. I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series. I keep hearing the 2nd book is the best, so I hope to read it within the next couple of months

I've heard her speak online before and she's very interesting, and easy to listen to. I'll keep an eye on this

I actually only have the 1st 2 books on my Kindle. Must get the paperbacks. Books 3-9 were Christmas presents some years ago. And I finally bought book 10 in Glasgow last summer. I do come across her books in Waterstones shops here.
2nd book finished - The Postscript Murders. I always enjoy Elly Griffiths' books. I have to admit I still prefer the Ruth Galloway series but I'm enjoying the Harbinder Kaur series so far and have the next 2 books waiting on my shelf. I loved the literary content of this book with authors, publicists, a literary festival etc. And some nice twists and turns.
I think I will commit to
I've been thinking about reading it for ages. Maybe now is the time to finally do it!

I finished her Ruth Galloway series last year and started the Harbinder Kaur books. I've also bought the Brighton series but haven't started it yet. Thought I'd finish the Harbinder Kaur books first. Actually just got an e-mail that my signed copy of The Last Word has been posted! :)
