Crooked Kingdom and Knife were both on last year's list. The problem is there are always new books coming out that catch my eye, or other books in to my TBR pile catch my attention.
So many books and not enough time
Tempting as it was to try 2 lists again, I didn't manage it last year. Let's see if I can complete this list first, and then I can always try a second list. Some of these are unread books from my 2024 lists.1:

Katheryn Howard: The Tainted Queen
I re-read earlier this week, as well as reading Mr Dickens & His Carol. There's nothing quite like reading a classic.
I loved The Lighthouse Witches by C J Cooke. I recently read another book by this author - The Book Of Witching
Royal Feud and The People's King both sound interesting.I recently watched a documentary about Edward VIII & George VI and discovered that Edward actually wrote memoirs. It seems to be long out of print but I was able to find a copy that looks in good condition (esp for a 70 year old book) and at a reasonable price. Just waiting on it being delivered now.
I've only read Water For Elephants and Seven Husbands, both of which I enjoyed and would recommend.I can also have a stubborn streak. At one point everyone seemed to read Eleanor Oliphant - I only ended up eventually reading it as it was gifted to me. And once I read it, I did like it
Anyone else reading this? Even though I have read it, I discovered within the past year that I don't actually have my own copy of it. I was able to get a beautiful hardback copy in an independent bookshop in a neighbouring town :) I'm planning to read this on Chistmas Eve
