1176008 This: I read 1984 by George Orwell at the insistence of my boyfriend. I had never read it before because well... just hadn't. I'm a bit weird with "classic" literature. And oh boy was that ever the most hopeless read but I could see a lot of inspiration from that book in the dystopian, post-apocalyptic novels I have read. Thankfully, those are a little less hopeless.

I've seen some buzz about the book. What did you think about it?"

I really enjoy Simone St. James, so she can do no wrong for me. This was a little tamer than some of her other books but honestly, I really enjoyed it. It was nice because I've had a few months now of a lot of meh books.
