This: I read 1984 by George Orwell at the insistence of my boyfriend. I had never read it before because well... just hadn't. I'm a bit weird with "classic" literature. And oh boy was that ever the most hopeless read but I could see a lot of inspiration from that book in the dystopian, post-apocalyptic novels I have read. Thankfully, those are a little less hopeless.

The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James"I've seen some buzz about the book. What did you think about it?"
I really enjoy Simone St. James, so she can do no wrong for me. This was a little tamer than some of her other books but honestly, I really enjoyed it. It was nice because I've had a few months now of a lot of meh books.
I chose That: A book that is a fairy tale retelling. The book I chose was Bound. An excellent Cinderella retelling.
Oof, I've fallen so far behind. I chose This: The Book of Azrael
The Book of Azrael by Amber Nicole. Got it for free from BookSirens as a review book :)
I chose That. Although I didn't technically close my eyes, I did choose to try to actually finish The Strain again because I really want to read through the trilogy finally.
That: I am re-reading (and will probably finish tonight) Graveminder by Melissa Marr. I love this book, it feels like home when I read it, not sure why but it does!
