Backstory: Lucien Morningstar. The name of this man leaves a foul taste in the mouths of those who know it. He is known as an abomination for what he has done to change his body. He once had a tail, but when he decided to conduct a spell on himself, he traded it for legs. This was huge progress in his already advanced knowledge of dark magic. He was kicked out of his village because of his unholy practice, but it was no matter to him. He didn't need a large roof over his head. He had already stumbled across an abandoned house in a secluded part of the Snake Kingdom. He could finally complete his work in peace!
And in peace he surely worked, as his mastery of his evil magic grew stronger every passing day. However, it came at a price. He began to lose touch of reality, and when he realized that, he knew it was time: he must sacrifice something to maintain his sanity. He offered his memories, his relationships, all the love, hate and regret he held on to, everything that made him...him. To his relief, his offering was accepted and the disembodied voices disappeared...along with everything he had known about himself. But to him, it was worth it. Finally... Peace again at last.
Today Lucien works as a master of the dark arts, and welcomes whomever seeks his aid...as long as they give him something of equal value to their request. It matters not what it is. He'll take literally anything, with the exception of money. He doesn't care for it. He has no need for it. He only wishes to observe the being that came to him for things no one else can offer. Whether it be a love potion, poison, or to see the face of a long lost loved-one, as long as he gets his payment and can watch, he will serve.

ah crap...he's age 31... and when it comes to sentences, I automatically have to write unnecessarily long paragraphs... *stares accusingly at Damian, Christian, and Castor* I have no clue how to do simple sentences anymore. for some reason my brain has has me convinced that I'm not writing anything worthy of approval if the sentence isn't long...which might be what makes those two sentences sound so weird to me...hmm... I hate my old writing tactics, but we'll see how it works.

because my attempt at writing sentences for Lucien's personality just...idk, the two sentences I had just looked and sounded...off. I don't know if it's just me being self-critical or if I'm actually seeing something grammatically incorrect. It just doesn't flow right...

Ngl, despite being in the Christian faith, the hardcore Christians had me once convinced I was never going to find peace after death, and it caused some awful nightmares. I have a strong distaste for strict religious people for how closed-minded they usually are. To the point I refuse to call myself religious, only that I have a faith.

Empress, actually, which would place her as the most powerful person in the world. Emperors/Empresses (Tsar/...whatever the female variant is) are the top of the royal classification. Of course, I highly doubt the position today would hold any power compared to the US President.
