She didn't take too much notice of Alex turning away, she was more distracted by the clock. It took her a moment before to realize it was 9:30. "Oh, goodness, I should head home soon. I don't want my cat to feel lonely!" She almost completely forgot about Jambo. She felt a bit bad to go, but she felt like she would understand her suddenly leaving. She knew Fraise would likely care for Jambo while she was out, but she didn't want him to miss her.
