Oh Elaine (hello by the way) trust me I'm barely surviving right now. I'm in a relatively cool & dark room waiting impatiently for it to cool down.

Celiac & gluten sensitivity is such a difficult thing to adjust too. You don't realize how many everyday foods have gluten in them until you can't have it anymore!

I've had gluten free bread & cookies, they were ok. My issue is more about the fact that I have to give it up.

They have a whole aisle full of gluten free products at my grocery store. So there's no lack of option & possibilities.

How's everyone doing?


I'm ok, it's been stupidly hot here. Me & my bones are not happy right now.


So, I've come to the (sad) decision to eliminate gluten from my diet for the summer. Hopefully giving up my beloved bread will help ease my RA. Especially since it'll be at it's worst in the summer. So wish me luck.

It's yet another thing my RA has taken from me. First smoking, then caffeine, meat & most diary. Now bread.

I don't really want to go vegan, but that's where I'm heading.

Orphan Black has been amazing as usual, there's nothing like that show on television.

Thankfully my summer won't be too bad because of Preacher, Outcast & The Strain.

I was a BIG fan of Sterek, I'll admit to reading fanfiction about them.


The maze runner books were cool, the movie was ok. Yes he was injured while filming an action scene.
