I was going to do one. It’s one of my favorite stories. Start tomorrow? Or this weekend? As you like. Paul as hero or non hero? I guess I don’t think of him in those terms. More politics, vengeance, and power - delicious drama.
The American version certainly was, the four hour version was substantially better. There is something slightly un-epic about all the dull American accents. There is a reason fantasy has a British accent(s).
You’re right. I still had the page up but the share link option had disappeared! I found another link: https://youtu.be/6r-WSSbKUC8
Here it is, the new Dune: https://youtu.be/zmojmgclJpgThe visuals are better than expected, but the music was not even close to good enough.
The best part of that story was learning the legend behind the title: https://www.historicmysteries.com/man...
It’s time to Bond: https://youtu.be/tALHNW_rkoAAnyone else feel a bit of a Thanos Infinity War vibe?
I didn’t believe the first report. Or the second. By the third I shouted But they announced a sequel!!! as if that should have kept him alive.
Featuring the only vampire short story by Anne Rice, the undisputed queen of vampire literature, and an autobiographical introduction by Ingrid Pitt, star of the films The Vampire Lovers and Countess Dracula, this Mammoth collection brings together thirty-four uncanny and erotic tales by women who have redefined the genre of vampire fiction. From classic stories of the undead by writers like Edith Nesbit, Mary E. Wilkins-Freeman, and Mary Elizabeth Braddon to the work of such acclaimed contemporary authors as Poppy Z. Brite, Nancy Kilpatrick, Tanith Lee, Caitlin R. Kiernan, and Pat Cadigan, this terrifying and tantalizing volume turns the conventions of vampire fiction on their head and inside out as it refashions, and revamps, Bram Stoker's urbane Count Dracula in smart, modern, sexy terms.
