114553 Every day that passes might bring you closer to coming back, Groovy. Know that you are missed.

114553 Ooh... that sounds clever, Orinoco. Hope you'll put a pic of it on here.

114553 You could roll over, hands in the air and just let it take over!

However you do it, I hope you all have fun saying goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019.

Hi, Anna! I haven't heard from you in ages. It's so nice to hear from you!

Hi Groovy - I've been totally overloaded (but not overwhelmed), mostly good stuff and all to do with the children - bless their cotton socks. I'm hoping for a quieter couple of months and then it will all start again.

Anyway, here I am to wish you all a very happy new year and I hope you all choose books that you like because there's nothing worse than spending time on a book only to have to abandon it half way through. So if I could choose a gift for you it would be the gift of choosing the right books - ones that are right for you.

Oh I am silly - I read that out loud to myself just to see if I could say it without tripping up.

114553 Grab a cup of something, put your feet up and get idling!!

What a nice thought - just wish I could! Maybe this time next week when I've caught up!

114553 Rise of Shadows and Rule of Time are fantastic! Not so sure about Veil of Weaving. It's not at all bad but the other two grab me more.

114553 A good thought, Groovy. I ate a banana for breakfast this morning instead of my much-loved cereal.

114553 Thank you, Orinoco, x 100. I love it when I come across something that is completely new to me. Of course I know that British surnames often relate to their employment, such as Cooper or Miller, but names that indicate that someone was abandoned is tragic and, as I said, completely new to me. Thank you (again).

Ooh, interesting...

Tell me more...

That's fascinating, Orinoco. How did you find out that it means they rescued the child?

114553 Groovy, get on that bike girl! With TV or book as mrbooks and Orinoco suggest.

I hula hoop to music or TV (books are too difficult to read while wobbling around).

114553 Hi Groovy, I'm recovering from Christmas... and more.
