Hello everyone! :) Nice to know you're all alive and well.

There is that :)

Ooh, recently created a character in district 2, so I'll have to lean towards that one, but there is also something to be said for the elusive district 13... :)

Name (first and last, please): Devon Pilgrim

Gender: Male

District (please make sure there is a slot open here before you make your character): 2

Age: 18

Appearance (please include a visual, if possible):





Personality: Honestly, it depends on where you catch him. During or around the time of a fight he is serious, arrogant, and can be downright rude. He gets freaked out when he becomes emotionally involved with someone or someone becomes too attached to him. He's afraid to let them down and actually care. If you happen to catch him on a good day, he can be a funny guy. He's still cocky, but he's a bit nicer when he knows your not trying to kill him.

History: After years of putting his name in the reaping as many times as one possibly could, he made up his mind that this year - his last - he would do whatever it took to get in, even if it meant volunteering. Devon has been preparing for the Hunger Games his whole life, and he knows all weapons like the back of his hand. He's quite familiar with the Peacekeepers, especially since they train in his district and his own father is one. He has been know to blow up a building or two of theirs, and gets into a fair few scuffles with them. His mom is sick and he knows he is losing her. Even with the best medicine, she is incurable. He has to win to make something of his life, even if it's an empty promise.

Family: Mom - she's sick and it's only getting worse
Dad - the dreaded Peacekeeper (needless to say, he doesn't get along very well with his son).
Reaped or Volunteered?: Volunteered

Bloodbath? (yes or no): Sure, why not?

Token: Doesn't have one.

Strategy: He has been training all of his life and finally volunteered. His strategy is to not get emotionally involved with anyone and win - using whatever it may take.

Strengths: He's doesn't have the most muscular build, but he still is fairly strong. He knows all weapons like the back of his hand, and he is smart. He can figure things out in a jam quickly and is very confident.

Weaknesses: Once he gets to know someone, he will have a hard time doing what has to be done to win. He can get too arrogant, and he doesn't have a plan to win over sponsors... yet.

Is this character good with academics? (yes or no): Yes

Best subject in school: Math

Other...?: On his back is a huge scar running from his shoulder to his lower back from a recent fight with a Peacekeeper. It is still relatively new, and he still feels pain if he makes a bad move.

Lence loved dirt, and rocks, and he was pretty sure she loved his face too because she had an odd obsession with ramming things into it... * But... the first one was probably more realistic :D Jk

HAHAHAHAHAHA! What did you do to my favorite character?! Now if Lence 'drops dead of stroke' it would probably be beacuse she realizes that Aphrodite is her godly parent.

Uh huh! XD!!! It scares me that you get these brilliant ideas... I will be forever fearful of my character's safety around you!

Cinna was pretty cool, but he died, and while it brought poetic justice and whatnot, he didn't get the chance to completely win me over. Now Gale or Finnick .... ;)
