Personality:

Dakota is the type of guy that can never be serious. He is high on life and, quite often, sugar. He is unlike anyone you will ever meet. He is wild and seemingly unpredictable, but when the need to be serious arises, you can count on Dakota – most of the time. He's very protective and always has a glint in his eye.

History:

Dakota isn’t exactly the standard District 8 person. District 8 is one of the poorer districts in Panem, and Dakota knew as a child that he had to help his mom. He got into selling clothes and fabrics for a living, and he can’t stand the thought that it is what he will be doing for the rest of his life. Everyone in his district walks around with a certain defeat in their stance, a look in their eye, and Dakota refuses to submit to fate and destiny. He challenges the way of life by being his charming, witty, humorous self, and often gets into more trouble than is good for him. He back is lined with scars and his hands show what can he refuses to say. Panem is trying to beat down his good spirits… And it almost did once. But that was before he met Lence. She is his ‘bestest friend in the whole entire world,’ and he can never help but smile when he sees her. He is currently in the friend zone because he was turned away by means of rock when he kissed her. She was an angel. Honestly, he doesn’t mind because he would do whatever it takes to be around her, but he would love to be out of the friend zone and into the mega friend zone! That would be awesome. Okay, so maybe that’s a lie too. He’s a little crazy about her.

Dakota was out and about when a bird swooped in and onto his head. He was enraptured and fascinated and deemed the bird, ‘Flappy.’ Flappy isn’t exactly a token, but he will be with Dakota throughout the whole games. He will do whatever it takes to keep his bird safe and with him.

Strategy:

Be his utterly charming self and hope that people don’t kill him. Great plan, right?!

Getting the girl

Fighting
Being a charming and hot guy – it just comes naturally for him.

Weaknesses:

Getting distracted by girls
Squirrels – NO! He doesn’t like them AT ALL.
He can be clueless sometimes… Just a little…

Dakota has brains and smarts; he just might not always act like it… So it depends on the moment.

Best subject in school:

Science and math are his forte. ADHD prevents him from being good at anything else.

Other...?: He has a ... drinking problem. (Kool-Aid with 3 times the normal sugar) He also has ADHD.
