1114052 Today is the last day to enter your book for consideration for the April BOTM.

Since we already have more than 6, I will be entering all in a random generator to narrow it down to 6. But since that means there are several that won't make it on the poll. We'll do this again this summer, maybe June?

I'll keep everyone posted!

Yes we did, the whole series actually. It got some really great feedback.

1114052 Hey everyone, so I'm going to leave submissions open until the 15th. That way we are sure everyone had a chance to submit their book in the thread.

After that, if we have more than 6 submissions, I'll use a random generator to narrow it down to 6. Then the poll will go up on the weekend of the 19th.

As of now we have 6 submissions. If it stays that way, all 6 will be on the poll. 😉

I think you're doing a wonderful job, Bruce. And I don't think there's anything you could do better in the pitch department. My thoughts that I wouldn't like it had nothing to do with you, and everything to do with my pigeonholing lol I tend to stick with one genre, and your book is an example of why I need to stop doing that. Ha ha!

1114052 In April we'll be doing things a little different. Instead of having a genre poll, we will just have a book poll. All the books will be from authors in the group. I want to make sure at some point, our authors have the opportunity to get their books read by the group.

Here's how it will work:

*If you are an author, with a self-published book, and are a member of this group, and you want your book to be considered, you'll need to tag your book in this thread.
*If we have already read one of your books, please let others have a chance.
*Please only tag one book
*If we have more than six entries, I'll use a random generator app to select six, saving the others for a future poll.
*Once we have a minimum of 5, max of 6, I'll create a poll and everyone can vote for their favorite.
*The winning book will be our April BOTM.
*Those that didn't get selected will remain on our bookshelf, and may still be included in future polls.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

1114052 Okay so I'm thinking we'll do this in April. I'll be starting a new thread later today. And if you want your book included in the April poll, you'll need to tag the book on that threat. So watch for that.

It's exciting to see our members find our BOTM's good enough for them to keep reading and reviewing. That's exactly why I created this group!
