1114052 Great review

And sorry everyone. I got locked out of my account this past weekend and I like to have never been able to get it recovered lol

I'm back though!

1114052 I'm doing it different this month. It seemed too confusing to have separate threads for progress, discussion and reviews. So i think lets trying lumping them all into one thread and see how that works.

Feel free to start A Formerly Dark Mage when you're ready, just be careful about reading this thread in there are spoilers.

Really Great insight Lana - and I think you are right about her being one to watch!

1114052 Since Ellie Aiden's trilogy Living the Way is our 4th quarter read, and so far most seemed to enjoy it, I thought I would give you all a heads up that she just released a new book.

A Fairy Awesome Story is a fantasy reverse-harem that I have already read. I gave it 5 stars & honestly it deserved 6 in my book.

I highly recommend if you like fantasy/fairies/smart-ass MC's/ or reverse-harems.

You can thank me later lol

1114052 It was close, but we have selected to read The Formerly Dark Mage

Start reading when you're ready, and I'll get the discussion threads going this weekend.

That's a good point Matt. I read her blog post about that. It really sucks that happened. I know not everyone is like this, but for me, when I'm reading from a new SP author, I try really hard to focus on the story. Does the author have potential? And if he/she gets enough visibility could she/he make it mainstream? Because it's then that they can afford to spend money and let other people do all the things for them.

Just my thoughts, but I do understand feeling pulled out of the story when you need to figure out what the author meant. That does suck.

I hate that you didn't like it. I guess we can't win them all lol but I do appreciate your opinions, and it's the really great thing about books; there's something out there for everyone!

I certainly understand that. Just a matter of preference because I'm on the opposite side. I get bored too easily with thick books lol I like easy reads for the most part. I think the thicker they get, the more bogged down it feels.

But I appreciate your thoughts, and just goes to show, this is why there are millions of books out there to choose from. We all have different likes and dislikes, especially when it comes to books. 😍

I'm finding that that is Ellie Aiden thing. All her MC's are funny, which makes me think she is probably a hoot to be around!
1114052 Thanks Matt!

1114052 Based on her IG - it seems like she is very supportive of other authors. That's one of the things I like about you and her!
1114052 The month is almost over - so be sure to finish reading The White Prince ❤

For those that have finished - any final discussion on The White Prince
1114052 Since I accidently posted some book 2 stuff in book 3's discussion 😒 - any thoughts on Anna's relationship with Mateo?
Oct 23, 2020 06:18PM

1114052 So in book 2 we have split POV between protag and antag, in book 3 we get Anna and Luke, how did that change the dynamic for you, and did you like having Luke's POV?
