I've had a really nice evening yesterday with some friends in a dinner with reading from Ivan the Fool by Leo Tolstoy.
Still we've not learned the lesson...

So glad it has finally arrived!!! I love Summer - I should do as bears: go to sleep by the end of Autumn and wake up again in Spring...

At the moment I'm reading The Long, Long Afternoon and finding it excellent: a deep analysis of the States before the 60s: racism, feminism, female issues...

I so agree with that!!!

At the moment I'm listening to The Dark Half by Stephen King and reading both Beyond This Place by A.J. Cronin and La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman. All three really good books

I always prefere books! Still, I've so loved the tv series as kid - I didn't even know it was taken from books at that time!
