Daegon rubbed his eyes tiredly with his hand.

Daegon looked around, his eyes narrowing. “I’d reveal myself if i were you,” he said.

Daegon nodded. “Sometimes you have to see it, okay? And if you feel the need to join us, you *will* see it. You will be a *part* of it.”
(since Daegon doesn’t know he got powers, i’m gonna make him a teeny bit nicer lol)

“Max, do you even understand what’s happening in the world around you?” Daegon asked him, forcing himself to look at him.

“Do i really have to explain it?” Daegon said, glaring at her.

“No we can not *keep him*, Siren.” Daegon said.

Daegon groaned and looked away. “What an idiot,” he thought.

Daegon sighed through his nose, keeping to the shortest answer he can. “Because they are unnatural.”

Daegon glared at Max, staying silent.
