No. You have to read the books now for them to count. Re-reads are allowed, but make sure you read the books within the time limit.
Alison wrote: "Hi Ruchi. Do you have any particular format in mind for posts in the readathon thread?"No. Since it's your own page/book limit, I'm thinking of giving the readers their own space to post their books. However, make sure you're updating the books in one single thread.
Kirthika wrote: "Hey, the September pairings were announced today and I haven't heard from my buddy yet. Is there something you could do??"Well I haven't yet sent a Group Message so most of the members don't even know that the pairings have been announced. I'll send the message tomorrow, and if your partner still doesn't show up, you could send a personal message.
I always, always read multiple books at a time. Minimum of two, and a maximum of five. A lot of people ask me how I don't get distracted, but the thing is, I simply don't take it as a distraction. It's more like...a variety. I almost always make sure I'm reading different genres, like right now, I'm reading one fantasy, one humour and two contemporaries. It just gives variety. In the sense, if someday I wake up and feel like reading some gory bloody war scene, I'd take up the ASOIAF novel I'm on. If by the night I'm in the mood for some sappy romance, I'd read any of the contemporaries. That's how it works for me.
Kelly wrote: "I have a book that I have started reading already, it is not very interesting yet, but it is a part of a buddy read so I intend to finish, but need the pressure of a deadline, if you will. So can ..."I'm sorry, but it has to be read in that duration :)
