Xavier shook his head. “Don’t be sorry. And yes, let’s go to PE!”

Xavier chuckled. “My siblings aren’t like that. They couldn’t care less about anything I do. Your brother sounds cool.”

Xavier shook his head. “Uh... no. They’re awful!” He laughed.

“Cool!” Xavier exclaimed. “I have a bunch of siblings, but they’re all older than me. I’m like the odd one out. You should see us. It’s totally ridiculous how different I am.” He looked down.

Xavier stared at her. “I didn’t know you had a brother.”

“Anywhere you want to go, I do too.” Xavier said sweetly.

Xavier followed meekly, smiling the whole time.

Once they were gone, Melody breathed a sigh of relief. “You wouldn’t believ what’s going on.” She told Ash. “You’re in for quite a surprise when you wake up...”

Xavier wrapped his arm around her waist, closing his eyes.

Melody coughed awkwardly. “Uh... you guys can go. I’ll stay here with Ash while you can go and make those faces at each other somewhere else.”

Xavier looked at Fiona, his eyes filled with love and happiness. “I’m glad we met you too.”

Melody nodded and accidentally blinked out. “It means a lot to us too. More than you might know.” She appeared beside Ash’s bedside to check in her.

Xavier looked back at her and caught her gaze. He turned around and caught her hands in his. “Then you are special.” He said softly. Then he stuttered. “I mean- you already were- you just- I-” He mentally slapped himself. Oh great!

Melody stepped in to the rescue. “What Xavier is trying to say...” she arched her eyebrows at him. “...is that not many people connect with us right away. You did and for that, you must be special.”

[[UH OH! WE BETTER MAKE ROOM IN THE HEALING CENTER! XD]]

Xavier nodded and looked down at Ash’s still form. “Yeah, she takes some getting used to, but that’s just Ash for you. Stubborn but friendly.”

Melody giggled, blinking in and out again. “She’ll be fine with that. It’s just another excuse not to dance.”

Xavier smiled and looked at Fiona. “Ash hates anything formal and she always tries to get out of doing them.” He explained.
