[[Ok, I’m not gonna lie, every time you say “unborn young,” it gives me the chills...]]

Ash and Melody appeared. The room had been cleaned up a little since the accident, but still wasn’t as it was.

Ash surveyed the damage and sighed. Using the crutches, she hobbled over to the bed. At least that was normal. She laid down wincing.

“Are you ok?” Melody asked.

“Yeah, nothing that time can’t heal.” Ash reassured. “You can go. I’ll be fine here.” Her voice sounded far away and tired.

Melody nodded. “I’ll leave you alone.” She raised her pathfinder again and was gone.

Seeing her leave, Ash got up off of the bed and went to the corner of the room, untouched by the damage. She created a marble sized force field and it disappeared into it. She reached through and got out an old, black bound notebook. Ash stood up, opening it. She went and sat cross legged on her bed and started reading.

Melody nodded, smiling.

Ash got up out of bed and staggered.

Melody rushed to her side and steadied her. “You should probably lay back down.” She advised.

Ash shook her head stubbornly. “I’ve been down long enough. Anyway, I feel better than I did a few minutes ago.” She took the crutches and took a few steps to the door. “Can you take me home?” She asked Melody. “I don’t think I can hold a pathfinder and stay standing.” She giggled.

Melody laughed and trapped her pathfinder. She raised it to the light and they stepped through.

Hey Lunaria. I’ve been reading around and those powers are a little crazy to be in just one person. Maybe try spreading them out a little? Then you can have more characters with cool powers and they aren’t too powerful.

Ash sat up slowly. “Oh, my head.” She groaned.

“Yeah, you took a nasty hit.” Melody commented. “Sorry about that.”

Ash smiled at her friend. “A wise person once told me, “Never say sorry, just ask for forgiveness.” She said, quoting Melody.

You’re not confusing Shayna. It does seem a little too powerful to have all those abilities in one person.

Ash moved slightly. Melody rushed over and waited. Again, Ash moved. “Melody?” She said quietly. She was awake.

“I’m here Ash.” Melody took her hand.
