I'd maybe give this a 3.5 stars...
The story was quite interesting, I just think Mead dragged it out a bit too long. It was weird with Rose alone in Russia, even though I like Sydney and Dimitri's family. Strigoi Dimitri was.... *shudders*
Rose made a very awesome escape though, haha.

I'm not entirely sure what the point of Avery was. At first I was glad that she was there to add something to the St. Vlad's side of things, but in the end, it seems like all she did was break up Lissa and Christian and then go away xD
