City of Lost Souls *dies* My soul was withering away, waiting for the CoHF release.
Also, Mark of Athena was a pretty literal cliffhanger ;)

I didn't really like the triangle in The Hunger Games. It seemed really unrealistic, and Katniss didn't handle it well at all.
Also, in general I don't appreciate the cliche in which the MC falls in love with a new guy/girl, and right after that the MC's best friend announces his/her undying love. (ahem, TMI. One of the few parts I disliked).

I'm going to have to agree with many others and say Tessa, Will, and Jem in The Infernal Devices trilogy. It's so well-executed, heartbreaking, beautiful, funny, romantic... And the only love triangle that's ever had me truly torn.

Absolutely fantastic trilogy; I recently reread all three books and fell in love again. Marie Lu just nailed everything--worldbuilding, romance, characters, dialogue, plot...

The epilogue left me wanting WAY more, though. The "Life Before Legend" novella was great, now I just need "Life After Champion" xD

:') Jem is quite possibly the best book boyfriend I've ever encountered (although I voted for Jace in this game just to keep it slightly more interesting, hahaha)
