Do the best you can. I have reviewed a lot of books in these groups that were far from my area of expertise and not books I would have chosen to read. In most cases, I learned something from them.

An offer of an Alternate Reviewer has been extended to the author who has not received the second round review. This group will now be closed. Thank you to all the participants who completed their assignments.

If you are going to be late with your review, either post to this topic as soon as possible or message the author and the moderator.

If your book has not been reviewed by the deadline for either round, contact the review group moderator. This is necessary to make certain that the review process is fair for everyone.

Note that any participant who makes no effort to fulfill his or her commitment to this group will have all reviews of his or her work resulting from this group deleted and his or her membership in the Genre Specific Review Group will be terminated.

I have completed reading Child of Fire, Child of Ice. I am in communication with the author to determine how we will proceed.

I will need more than a few days. I am still reading Child of Fire, Child of Ice-A Sci-Fi Romance Series. I have contacted the author and have an agreement with her about how long it will take for me to finish.

Authors need to understand that Amazon has a policy against reciprocal reviews. Anyone who posts a review of another author who has reviewed him or her runs the risk of having both reviews removed from Amazon web sites.
