This book club is dedicated to exploring Latin American history through the works of some of its most influential writers, including Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, Isabel Allende, Jorge Amado, Alejo Carpentier, and others. Our objective is to deepen our understanding of the region’s rich and complex past by engaging with fiction that blends history, memory, and imagination.
Members are encouraged to share their personal experiences, reflections, and the connections they draw between the novels and Latin American history. Everyone is free to read different books at the same time—what matters is the exchange of perspectives, not keeping to a single title. Discussions are thoughtful and spoiler-free, so you can join at any point without worry.
