[close] Georgian Era. Hello and welcome to Grimoire’s Return. Clean slates, pasts erased. Here is the story. Long, long ago, a coven ruled over the world of witchcraft. The Nero Stella coven they called themselves. Evil creatures, they were. The heiress of said coven, Eleonora Labelle, soon gave birth to a child. To this day the child’s name is unknown. Every year on the child’s birthday, the witches would dance and gift her extraordinary things. Until the child grew older. Their beauty far surpassed their Mother’s, and she grew envious. Said the child lived to die. It was their purpose. On the child’s 16th birthday, a ritual was held. Sigils were painted on the child’s forehead, and the members of the coven danced in an extravagant, sparkling circle. They sang in chants. When the dancing and singing ceased, each witch held up a goblet of blood wine. They drank from it all at once, and Eleonora glided, danced towards her child as graceful as an angel. She used her manipulative magic to make the child float. Made them unconscious. A witch presented the sacred dagger. One that was stained with the blood of years before. Eleonora pressed it to her child’s throat, drawing a perfectly straight line of blood. The magic ceased. The child dropped. And she fled.
