The Night class is the vampire class, of course, and the Day class consists of humans. However, the Day class has no idea the Night class consists of vampires, except for the two guardians, who keep the vampires in line. Many of the Day class students try and sneak out at night to meet the Night class, as they are gorgeous and irresistible. It's dangerous, because even the vampires of royal and high status can't always have the self control...
