[close] This group is dedicated to readings and discussion related to the Transition Movement started by Rob Hopkins. The movement started in Ireland and England in 2005-6. It's initial purpose was to confront the challenges of climate change and peak oil; after the events of 2008 the challenge of economic instability was added. The group photo shown does not indicate a formal connection between this Group and Transition Network.org, but is rather a sign of agreement and alliance. Any member having an idea for an alternative group photo is welcome to submit a suggestion.
