[close] Welcome to the Online Book Club hosted by the LEAF Toronto Branch! Every few months we will choose a new book with an aim to feature female, marginalized, intersectional and Canadian voices. Questions will be posted by the moderator to generate discussion and encourage conversation. LEAF Toronto is a local branch of a national non-profit organization called Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF). It works in accordance with the national organization’s mission to advance the substantive equality rights of women and girls in Canada through litigation, law reform and public education. [close] TRAMPs is a Facebook group created for feminists across the globe. We invite our friends and friends of friends. We're the type of feminists who might not be welcome at your typical country club. That's why we have the TRAMPs Facebook Group. It's a way to spice up our timelines with radical humor, as well as a space to share thoughts, ideas, and feelings. More than anything, it's a feminist support group and cheer centre for awesome people with opinions. The Toronto members of this group have formed an in-person book club. Every 6 weeks we meet to discuss 2 related books with a political/feminist theme to them.
