[close] For anyone interested in black and white movies, actors from the dawn of film through the 1960s, or the culture of the era, this is the book club for you. We read four books a year (a new book each season) alternating between fiction adapted to the screen and non-fiction about the screen.

[close] This group grew out of Turner Classic Movie chanel's November 2012 Great Adaptations show. Every Monday and Wednesday during November, TCM showcased films that had been made from great books. There were 92 in total. Read the book, watch the film adaptation, and share your thoughts! And feel free to suggest other books that have been adapted into film.
