[close] This book club is all about celebrating female authors! Every month we'll be reading a book written by a woman, or fem presenting person. The main genres we'll be focusing on are romance, fantasy, scifi, mystery, thriller, horror, and even manga, specifically of the shoujo variety. Most picks will also be in the YA demographic, but occasionally we'll read an NA or Adult book too. I plan to have a series that we'll all read together throughout the year, as well as standalones. We will not be focusing just on new releases, as I want everyone to have a chance to participate, especially those that use the library. And depending on how many people join, I might even open up polls to decide what we read next. Despite the focus of the club, everyone is welcome to join! Men, women, enbys, etc. 😊

[close] ~Wonderful Wonderful World~ Heart No Kuni No Alice~ Based on the Visual Novel by Quinn Rose, Alice in the Country of Hearts is a retelling of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland. The series follows young Alice, who is kidnapped to Wonderland by a talking rabbit who can transform into a man. While waiting to return home, Alice meets and befriends the various inhabitants of this strange land. The series continues with several spin offs focused on Alice's relationship with different characters as well as her adventures in the land of clover and in the circus domain of clover
