[close] I am a reformed evangelical pastor who wants to read but has never been good at it. My hope is that this group will get me (and others ;-) reading at least 4 books per year that will help Gospel-ministry. I am using Mark Driscoll's "Great Books" list from the Resurgence website. It is not a complete reading program, but it is a good enough starting point. The average pace will be one book per southern hemisphere season (Summer=dec-feb; Autumn=mar-may; Winter=jun-aug; Spring=sep-nov)

[close] We here at "Confessionally Reformed and Academically Inclined" love reading, studying, and reviewing books. We read not only books of our own tradition but seek to engage with the greatest minds in all of Christendom. Though we do personally read practical books on Christian living the purpose of this group is to emphasize the academic side of Christianity. We are committed to upholding the faith confessed by the Reformed and Presbyterian churches and subscription to one of the reformed confessions either being the Westminster standards, Three Forms of Unity, or the London Baptist Confession of 1689 is necessary for membership in this group.
