[close] We are organising a local book club reading books about Palestine. Each month, we'll pick a different book, read it, talk about it, and then I'll post a review. Choosing which books to read has been tough because no one knows about them. I've made a list, and if you'd like a copy of the list, please let me know. [close] NewGround began in 2006 as a response to the climate of tension and mistrust between Jews and Muslims in Los Angeles. But more importantly, NewGround was founded to create a national model for healthy relations, productive engagement and social change between American Muslims and Jews. To transform the landscape, the Muslim Public Affairs Council and Progressive Jewish Alliance joined forces to create a fellowship for emerging Muslim and Jewish leaders to change the tone of the conversation. Today, NewGround is an independent group fiscally sponsored by Community Partners and housed at the City of Los Angeles Human Relations Commission. This GoodReads book club is the virtual presence of the actual alumni book club that meets regularly in Los Angeles.

[close] This group is a place to talk about books, places, items, stories, events related to Palestine. I am from the USA, but I was recognized as a honorary Palestinian by a woman from the West Bank. Something I have always felt honord to have.

[close] This is a safe place for pro-Palestinians Readers and Activists for Palestine is a goodreads community created by a group of friends aiming to educate people about the war and crisis going on between Palestine and Israel.
