[close] This group is open to anyone and everyone that has an interest in authors of Middle Eastern descent. There are more contemporary books written by Arabs and we want to read them! This might be Arab American Author heavy, but all authors from any country (of Arab descent) are welcome! Also, all stories are welcome! In order for a book to be included, the author must have some Middle Eastern descent. They do not need to live in the Middle East, but they must be Arab. There are Arabs that aren't from the Middle East, some have never lived in the Middle East/North Africa region and that is OK! We want to learn about them and read their stories! We want to showcase as many great authors as possible. Books can be fiction or non-fiction, but we must categorize accordingly. While the moderator is based in the US, and may recommend books written by Arab American authors, all authors of Arab descent are welcome.
